OK, the only solution I have found is to fetch the header file using filezilla or other ftp. Then open the graphic in photoshop and lay ontop of it, as a new layer, any image you want. click save and then re-upload into your wordpess.
the header image is located in your wordpess at:
/wp-content/themes/parquetry/images/maingraphic
