• When we corrected an error in creating an API key we were given a new API key.
so now we get the infamous OOPS error message. I am hoping that putting the new API key in the system will fix the error.
    So the question is…

How do you change the API key in the free version.
    Or
Can anyone tell me where in the WP db the API key is stored as I could just go there to change it.

I have an under construction page up for anyone not logged into the admin area and I need the contact page fixed before I can take it down and open the site.

    Thank you in advance

  • Dear bjantiques,

    Thanks for your post.
As the information of the API is saved in the database it will be necessary to apply some changes from there.
Please log in to your cPanel, go to wp_options table find hugeit_maps_api_key and replace its value with the new updated API.

Expecting your reaction by return of post 🙂
    Thanks

Thank you for your reply. Yes that solved the initial problem.
Unfortunately I find that it will not let me add a marker.

    Dear bjantiques,

Will it be possible to provide a screenshot of your WordPress admin dashboard console?
Please press F12 when you create a marker and go to the console section.
The provided solution should not cause the error you have described but we will be glad to try to resolve the issue.

    Thanks

I have given you a video of my trying to create a marker so why would you want a singular screen print?????

    Dear bjantiques,

The video you have sent contains the information about the problem but it’s necessary to check out the errors of the console for our developer being able to understand what is causing the issue you have.

    Thanks

    Dear bjantiques,

    Thanks for the screenshot.
We can see that the admin.js files are not applied.
Could you check, please, if you have any firewall or adblock service which blocks that functionality?

You also can check the website using another browser to see if the same issue exists or not.

    Thanks
