    Hello,

When I opened WPForm Summary, I got big orange GMail warning:

    Be careful with this message

This may be a spoofed message. The message claims to have been sent from your account, but Gmail couldn’t verify the actual source. Avoid clicking links or replying with sensitive information, unless you are sure you actually sent this message. (No need to reset your password, the real sender does not actually have access to your account!)

When I look at the details, I found that the From Email is mysitename <myadminemail@gmail.com> of course it will trigger GMail warning because it says from myadminemail@gmail.com – it should be from info@mysite.com for example, but I cannot find how to do it. (I don’t wanna use WP Mail SMTP’s Force From Email either), so could you help me?

I use Sendgrid as email delivery service

    Hi @siprof,

Currently the emai summaries from WPForms uses the WordPress admin email address as its From Email, and we don’t have a built-in option to change it.

A possible workaround might be to whitelist the email summaries by ‘unmarking’ it as spam. Here’s a guide from Google on how to unmark spam in Gmail.

Alternatively, if it’s possible, you can consider using the SendGrid plugin on your site to override the WordPress admin email so that notifications are sent using the Sendgrid email delivery service.

    Hope this helps!
