How to change the colour of the gray ribbon to white?

    Hi Corpo Peeps,
    Just wondering if any of you clever folks may be able to help me…I would like to change the colour of the gray ribbon to white so the website looks clean and minimalistic. The logo I want to use is primarily white so I thought if I could make the ribbon white it would disappear and my site would look very clean / basic.
    I have a basic understanding of how to edit things in css but I need to follow step by step instructions.

    Hello, may be you have just figure it out.
    But you have to create a child theme and edit the CSS.
    You go to Appearance-editor and copy this:
    #header, #footer {
    background: #ffffff;}

    If you want to change only the header you remove #footer.

    That’s all..
