Hey there yazooda,
This can definitely be done with some modifications.
Moving the text below the image and centering the image above can be easily done with some custom CSS. To do that please try adding the following CSS code in the style.css file of your child theme or if your theme doesn’t have custom CSS tab add it in your site using the following plugin:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css
.home .entry-summary {
clear: both;
margin-left: 0;
}
.home .entry-thumbnail {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
float: none;
}
This should be the result http://screencast.com/t/bTcT6u4D6. Increasing the image would be another problem, increasing it slightly can be also done with CSS but if you want it to be full width you’ll have to increase the default dimensions of the thumbnail that is being used there, I’m assuming in your themes functions.php. You’ll find more info here https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/set_post_thumbnail_size.
Hope this helps 🙂
Cheers,
Bojan
Mr. Bojan, that was so great, many thanks to you.
But, why aren’t the picture and the text that before “More Tag” line appearing??
See how I do it: http://s28.postimg.org/o9tbvs3cd/image.jpg
And how it looks: http://www.wecanboost.com
Hey again yazooda,
After closely inspecting the code of the theme that you’re using I’ve found that there is an option that allows you to use excerpt or full post summery (in which case more tag works).
You’ll find the option in Appearance -> Customize -> Content/Excerpt, see screenshot http://screencast.com/t/YUUaRkm1j.
Hope this helps 🙂
Cheers,
Bojan
Mr.Bojan,
Writing here can’t express how much I appreciate that, really this type of help which need to be paid for. Many others couldn’t help here because they don’t want more than getting the question marked as resolved.
My Best Regards and Thanks.
Yazeed.
