    Hi there,

I am building a French and English website using WooCommerce.
I would like to change the button text on the Check out page “Passer la commande” on the French page and “Place order” on the English page.
The translation plugin is ‘TranslatePress’ and the payment is made with Stripe. I also plan to add PayPal in the future.
I have tried various codes I found on the internet in Snippets, but they did not work.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi there @gomoc 👋

I would like to change the button text on the Check out page “Passer la commande” on the French page and “Place order” on the English page.

I understand you are using TranslatePress for turning the site bilingual.

They have a full guide published on the subject, which can be opened via this direct link.

Feel free to reach out to their support channels for anything further.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi,
Your answer is not at all on target for me.
I want to change what is displayed by default, not how to translate it.
How can I change the text ‘Passer la commande’ that is displayed on the main French website, and the ‘Place order’ text that appears when I turn to the English page?

    Kind Regards,

For anyone else having a similar problem.
I used ”loco-translate” and successfully fixed the problem.
