  • If you are using WordPress_Menu_User_Guide to create menus on your site, then you may change the Navigation Label for “Home”.

    Well, regular menus don’t work so well for me. This “Home” menu item and whole menu is part of theme that looks much better than regular created menu…
    You have take a look and compare the above header menu that I want to rename with customizable item under the search and you will understand why i want to do that 🙂

    How is it better if you cannot modify it easily?

    The default wp_nav_menu() has it all. You can abuse it to build menus just like you want, and you can easily change the ‘Home’ to ‘House’ or else …

    And change every aspect of how it looks with CSS.

    @thunderbg It is almost impossible for anyone (even after looking at the site as non-logged-in user) to figure out what should be changed to change the label for “Home”. It entirely depends on how the menu is customized.

    @pothi Kalimuthu

    That’s why I’ve posted in first post what theme I use.

    Nevermind… I’ve did it with lots of tries 🙂

    You could have created the first post using “Write a new topic” link found at the bottom of the Custom Community theme. This way, your topic could be noticed faster by someone who knows about (or is interested in) this particular theme and how to customize it.

    Anyway, I just checked the theme (Custom Community). Technically, one can change the “Home” label in the file core/includes/theme-generator/theme-generator.php at line number 229, character numbers 89-92. Here is my sample site with this theme’s “Home” label changed to “Test”.

    Did this help you?

    Nevermind… I’ve did it with lots of tries 🙂

    You could have shared how you did it.
