In the Twenty Twenty four theme page, there is a full screen width image of a building with a slanted roof. If I add an image or column block after that, however, it’s much smaller, occupying the middle 1/3 of the page. How can I change other blocks to be as wide as the image of the building with the slanted roof? Thanks.

Hey @happynaturaldog! This is happening because the image is inside a group block, with the option “Inner blocks use content width” turned on. You can turn this off to open up width settings for the blocks under it.

The video below shows what you have to do.

Thanks for this advice @properlypurple! I’m only seeing the upper corner of your screen in the video, and didn’t see the option “Inner blocks use content width,” am I missing something on the screen or was that option not shown? Thanks 🙂

I’m marking this as resolved, but please start a new thread if you have any other questions 🙂
