I made it so that you can create an account at the checkout. If the user tries to register an account with an email that is already in use, they get a notification that says “An account is already registered with your email address. Please log in”. The problem with this is that when I press “Please log in” link, it doesn’t redirect me to the login page. Where can I modify this text?

    Hi there!

To reconfirm that I’m understanding correctly, you’re trying to change the link that should let returning customers log-in to their account on the checkout page, correct?

There isn’t an option to do that directly, and the link shouldn’t be broken in the first place.

This is what I see on my test site:

    login
    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/y58JIx

This is likely a conflict with the theme, but before we confirm that, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

The notification that doesn’t work is the error notification, not the regular, blue notification. It’s the red one https://d.pr/free/i/F3vXza. Is there any way to customize the text on the red error notification?

    Here’s the system report: https://pastebin.com/itrQ5vfv

Thank you for clarifying. That is not something I could replicate on my own test site either:

    login
    Link to image: https://d.pr/i/IIo2xw

There’s nothing obvious in the System Status Report that should be causing this, but can you please cross-check if you’re able to replciate the same behavior with Storefront as the theme?

You can set up a staging site to test by getting in touch with your web host, or using a plugin. The WP Staging plugin is perfect for making a clone of your live site so you can set up a local development site. If you need help setting it up, you can find the step by step documentation here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/#description under “HOW TO INSTALL AND SETUP?”

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Kind regards,
