  • I’d be very interested to know that too. I’ve been looking around but no luck…

    Hi!

    I wrote this https://polylang.pro/a-multilingual-custom-header-image/
    It works for themes using the standard WordPress functions. Unfortunately a lot of Premium themes are using their own option and the solution may be slightly different.

    hello @chouby. Thanks for the helpful post. I’ve tried it with supernova theme. After searching for the right keys to use with this theme I’ve used the following ‘wpml-config.xml’:

    <wpml-config>
      <admin-texts>
        <key name='theme_mod_supernova'>
          <key name='sup_logo'/>
        </key>
      </admin-texts>
    </wpml-config>

    placed the file in the theme root folder and I’m using polylang v2, but nothing was added to the string translations section. What is the problem please?

    update:
    the problem is solved. The right xml is:
    <wpml-config>
    <admin-texts>
    <key name=’theme_mods_supernova’>
    <key name=’sup_logo’/>
    </key>
    </admin-texts>
    </wpml-config>
