How to change header image?

  • I’ve read the file on this, and I’ve uploaded a file called “personalheader.jpg” to my theme’s /images/ directory. Still, the header won’t change…how do I fix this?

  • But it is commented out the call for it in your header.php

    I know, that’s where I’m reading from…it says:

    /* To ease the insertion of a personal header image, I have done it in such a way,
    that you simply drop in an image called ‘personalheader.jpg’ into your /images/
    directory. Dimensions should be at least 760px x 200px. Anything above that will
    get cropped off of the image. */

    And I’ve done that, but it still doesn’t work

    /*
    #headerimg { background: url('http://paul.buildtolearn.net/wp/wp-content/themes/default/images/personalheader.jpg') no-repeat top;}
    */

    needs to have the /* */ removed from around it..

    aha, that’s it, thank you!
