• Hello and thank you in advance for your help.

I have read and tried to implement other suggestions in this forum for how to change text colour and placement (see custom code area), but I have not found a way to change the header color and the Nav underline font colours, which are currently the default of neon pinky orange, although this only appears when I view my site (not currently public), not in my admin area. In my admin area, my site name appears in the font and color I selected. The Agama style has lots of places to change colors, but not in the header oddly. My goal is to have compatible colours throughout the site, which I’ve chosen to match those on my business card.

Also, it seems I have two Home pages. Is this just because I haven’t published my site yet?

    Hello, @chloebaggins!

If I correctly understand your question, (Please correct me if I’m wrong),
Go to: Customising ▸ General ▸ Skins and change the Primary Color per your wish.
    https://prnt.sc/kvpyc1
The Logo color (Yor website name in the Header), can be changed in the
Customising ▸ Site Identity ▸ Styling menu.
    https://prnt.sc/kvpy42

If you are thinking of “Frontpage” and “Homepage”, Basically, the “Frontpage” stands for Static Page (without blog posts) and “Homepage” is the page that contains the Blog posts on it.

    Hello,
To clarify, I’ve adjusted Skins to light and changed the colour, and indeed that change works when I look at the viewer on the right, however, when I select “Go to the Site” (which I’m still testing and have not yet made visible publicly), the name TechniKat and the navigational locator (under the word “Home) are still orange.
I uploaded some screengrabs to try to better illustrate. These also show the two instances of “Home”.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

It’s most likely you have a conflict with some of the plugins you have activated, so I suggest you check the plugins first.
Deactivate ALL plugins temporarily, then check if theme customization will start working correctly.
If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one)until the problem appears again on that way you can find the problematic plugin(s).

As I see you need to remove the Custom “Home” link(First one) from the Primary navigation menu.
So to do that, simply Go to Customising ▸ Menus ▸ Your Primary menu and delete the Custom “Home”link.

Thanks for these steps towards a solution. I’ve done as you suggested. And am still seeing conflict between my editing preview, where I see purple stuff and the moving circles and lines, and my site preview, where I still have orange in my name and as the navigational underlines. I think there could be issues with the Static Front Page and Home page, but I’ve been through every tab and option at this point and can’t figure out what the problem might be. I put screen grabs here if you need them https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/YqO1dE
