How to change font colour in Yoko theme? (8 posts)

    First post in here. What may seem a simple request (I hope).
    At present, all posts appear in a rather opaque grey font.
    How can I make them black?

    Any help, advice greatly appreciated. Only my third day or so using wordpress, loving it so far.

    Hi Matt, will you paste the URL to the site you're referring to?

    most texts seem to get the color from style.css of the theme:

    body {
    	font-family:'Droid Sans', arial, sans-serif;
    	color: #777;

    if you need some specific ones, post more details.

    I'm new to WP too and unfortunately did not understand alchymyth's answer. I'd like a darker font for my site too.

    In the code quote it looks to me like #777 is the font colour, but I thought these had to be six characters long so I don't want to change it without being sure.

    Also, is this a case where one would make a "child" theme?

    Here's my website http://www.andynash.com

    Thanks for any help from the forum,

    To change the font color:
    Under the Yoko theme, click "Edit CSS".

    I was able to add the following CSS under the comment area to change the font to black:
    body {
    color: black;
