    Hello,

    thank you for your really nice theme!

    I would like to use it on my web, but my slider image which I need to use is pretty light and white text is very difficult to see on it.

    Could you help me, please, where or how can I change the color of slider’s dynamic text?

    Thank you so much,

    Kamil

    Of course, I can, but it is not live version of the web yet: http://makpakendurance.cz.uvds337.active24.cz/

    Are you using the theme’s built-in slider? If so, try this code in a custom CSS plugin:

    #athena-jumbotron h2.header-text {
      color: #000000;
    }

    Try a site like Colorpicker to get the right hex code.

    Thank you so much for your help and for great solution, stephencottontail, it is working perfectly! Finally, thanks to you, I realized that it seems strange even with many other colors of text, because the image in slider had a lot of colors and contrast, co I changed the photo a little bit and I think now the text can stay in white, what do you think?

    Thank you so much again for your help,

    Kejml How did you make a static logo down below the standard header/logo bar? Looks great!

    And is it true, on the Icon Callouts we can’t set a URL?? Only by buying the full/Pro version?

    update Athena to 1.0.7, you can enter the URLs for the callouts from the free version.

    The pro version gives you a lot of add-ons, templates and extra customization options. See here:

    Thanks

    @smartcat I DID buy the pro version, just now. Thanks. I’m liking it so far. But… The top banner section for the LOGO: how can I edit the script to eliminate margins around the logo? The grey-ish transparency area is narrow and long, but the margins consume about 30% of this once a logo is placed on top of it (on the left of the page). I really like how @kejml ‘sat’ his logo on the jumbotron permanently. But how? Looking for a mod. Thank you so much.

    Bullets on the Pro version aren’t working….

    please contact us through our website https://smartcatdesign.net to get assistance. This forum is open to the WordPress.org community, however on our site we have support specifically for Pro version customers, and we respond faster there.

    Finally I put the logo inside a slider image as a static picture, but it was showing wrongly on mobiles, so I put there a logo back and changed its position and size a little bit and now is a little bit better. But I’m fighting with a problem that logo is still there on the top when I scroll the page down and logo is over the text below so I cannot read it etc…

    I would need to hide the logo after scrolling the first page down or something. This function is there – logo changes a size and become smaller, but I crashed this function with my playing with position and size of the logo… :-/

    @kejml

    Oh yeah, I see what you mean with it staying on the screen even when scrolling way down. That’s no good.

    The Athena solution is nice, but the top banner for the Logo is, I think, a bit too constricted. My Logo is squished, small, and irrelevant. I’m sure this is more my fault than anything in the code – after all, it IS a beautiful theme. A few things are buggy, like adding photos with text wrapping around, bullets, etc. But that’s part of the WP experience. Previously I started to learn CSS and made a site that way. But crap it took forever and forever. It’s still not done. (I’m not a tech guy; I run a charity for kids haha.)

    @smartcat

    Tnx for the advice.

    This question wasn’t answered on the website / support feature.

    We can add a background image/color to Widget A on the homepage, but NOT on Widgets B – D. Instead it defaults to some incongruous background color that has nothing to do with the rest of the site/theme.

    Is there a work around?

    @smartcat

    So many things DO NOT work…on the PRO version. And I tried sending help thru the SmartCat website. Nothing in reply.

    The email button is all tangled. It doesn’t work; has anyone even tried using it? And my download/version is from Feb, so it’s updated.

    The bullets do not work (numbering does).

    There are other issues with this theme, and because of these I will likely get someone in with background to fix them. Not what I was hoping to have to do.

    this is a theme design choice, background image for Widget A, however the other widgets alternate between plain and color background. This ensures the appearance stays optimal, within the design. I have gone through many iterations of the design, and found that having a background image in each widget looks pretty bad, hence the alternating backgrounds.

    The issue with bullets will be fixed in the theme update that im expecting to release this weekend.

    Thanks for the feedback, this is a new theme ( less than 2 weeks old ) and we appreciate users providing their input. rest assured that I am fixing every issue πŸ™‚

    thanks
