    Hello,

The Edin theme in wordpress.com has an option in the customizer theme options to change the menu style from the default to classic. I prefer the horizontal layout of the classic theme.

How do I achieve the classic menu style for Edin in the wordpress.org version of the theme?

You should find the same menu option (default/classic) in the Customizer in the self-hosted version of Edin, in the Theme Options panel.

Do you not see it there?

Hi Kathryn – I don’t see that option for the customizer on the self-hosted version of the Edin theme. I installed the Jet Pack Plug-in. So when I click customize, I see the same set of options for the self-hosted Edin theme as I do on wordpress.com.

However, under the Menus option in the customizer, I only see an option for Menu Locations but no option to change the Menu Styles from default to classic.

The theme options panel doesn’t rely on Jetpack – this is what you’re looking for:

Customize Edin 1 2 2 by Automattic tagline

I’ve tested this on my self-hosted install without Jetpack active. You’re looking for the Theme Options panel rather than the Menus panel in the Customizer.
