    Thanks for the response, but unless I am missing it, this doesn’t apply to what I like to do. All my pages load fine. I just want my wordpress to display my chosen url on loading my site instead of the default page and then having to click on the next page link. Am I making sense?

    do you actually want it to be that URL? or are you looking for the content of that page?

    you can set that page as your front page by using the static page settings…

    (Edit….I just reread your post, my solution is not what you are looking for….. it seems you want to go directly to your second page of posts, correct?)

    Thanks for the response. Yep I’d like to go directly to my second page of posts. The reason for that is that my second page lists more “different” posts and offers thus a greater variety of reading directly from the front page.
