How to change Colphon ID

    Hi,

    I’m building a site using a Twentythirteen Child, and I’m having trouble changing the color of the footer to white.

    In footer.php there is an id=colophon, and I don’t know where that reference lives. I’ve tried putting this:

    #colophon {
	background-color: #ffffff;

}

    in my child style.css without any luck. Any help would be really appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Can you link me to your site? I should be able to work it out in my browser and give you the CSS. Be sure to describe the part you want white.
