Support » Plugin: TablePress » How to Change Background Color on one Row in ‘Table Row Order Random’

    I’m using the Table Row Order ‘Random’ setting, and need to change the background color of one of my rows to highlight it.

    When I use the below CSS, it simply highlights a static row. I need the row to highlight and move around randomly..

    .tablepress-id-7 .row-32 td {
    background-color: #FCF3CF;
    }

    Any ideas? Many thanks!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    I’m not sure that I understand. Do you want to highlight a random row of a randomly sorted table?

    sorry I didn’t go a good job describing

    Let me give an example..

    I have 3 rows, Joe – Suzy – Larry

    I also use your ‘table row order random’ plugin, so all rows are randomly arranged per page load.

    I’d like to always add a background color to Suzy’s row.

    Any idea how to do that?

    Thanks a ton!

    Hi,

    ah, ok. Now I understand. For that, you could check if the TablePress Extension from https://wordpress.org/support/topic/highlight-a-row-based-on-value/
