• Hello,
do you have a guide to help me change my “admin” profile in my WordPress blog, to make it more secure?

If I look at my posts:
    http://nopassiveincome.com/author/admin/

Anyone could see the profile name and try to hack the site.

Also, is there a way to hide that URL?
Because even if I change username, my account profile will still be visible checking my posts.

    Thanks for your help!

There isn’t a simple way to change it, but you can easily make a new administrator, then log in as the new administrator and delete the old one. When you delete the old one, you’ll be asked if you want to transfer all of its content to the new administrator. Just say yes to that and you’re good to go with a new username.

At the moment, there is no way to hide the username URL besides just removing it from the theme, though I haven’t yet encountered any bots which scrape for that as it’s much less efficient than just hammering away at “admin” which will sadly get them into most sites still.
