[resolved] How to centre as a text widget? (3 posts)

    I have set up this form within a text widget in my sidebar - all good.
    I tried to centre it, as I have with all of my other text widgets, by entering the below code into the style.css

    #text-8.widget_text .textwidget {
     text-align: center;

    This centres the text, but the text field boxes stay left aligned. Do you know how I can centre everything?
    I have left it all left-aligned for the time being, but you can see where it is placed at http://www.bemorenow.net/evolution/?page_id=6

    Hi there,

    The following code should center everything.

    .mc4wp-form { text-align:center; }
    .mc4wp-form input{ text-align:center; margin: 0 auto; }

    Alternatively, the following code will increase the width of the input fields to 100%, which might look better.

    .mc4wp-form { text-align:center; }
    .mc4wp-form input[type="text"], .mc4wp-form input[type="email"] { width:100%; box-sizing: border-box; text-align:center; }
    .mc4wp-form input[type="submit"] { margin: 0 auto; }

    Hope that helps!

    PS. Some browsers won't let you center the placeholder text.
