How to cause wordpress to include some span tags with the UL it generates for..
I am using this WordPress function
<?php wp_nav_menu(array('menu' => 'Main Nav Menu'));?>
to generate a sidebar menu. Thing is, I need WordPress to format the
<li>tags to generate like this. Using the about page for an example from my html comp.
<li class="about"><a href="#">About Widget Corp<span></span></a></li>
Notice the span tags I have just before the closing anchor. Is there a way to target a specific nav menu, say a sidebar nav and have WordPress include the span tags in it’s list output? I need those span tags there to generate an effect I have created in my css.
