How to catch referring urls with an extra " tacked on at the end? (1 post)

After installed the plugin "410 for WordPress", I've been keeping a much closer eye on what passes for a 404 error on my site.

Many of the 404s are due to silly typos on the referring site and an overwhelming number look like one of these:

    http://mydomain.com/blog/slug/"

    OR

    http://mydomain.com/blog/slug/"

Where of course, the desired url is:

    http://mydomain.com/blog/slug/

I'm on nginx. Is there rewrite rule I can use to catch these cases and have them redirect to the correct article?

Or perhaps a WordPress plugin that will do it for me?
