I’m giving some users permission to edit specific pages on my membership site. I’m testing it out now & when I’m in the page edit screen I can’t see anywhere to cancel out (rather than hit update). This is not intuitive to me – is there no way to cancel if you decide to not make any changes?

This is what I see: https://ibb.co/FxC67hk

Also – is it possible to hide some of the admin bar options from those users?

  • Hello there,

It looks like you have updated WordPress to the latest 5.4 recently. All you have to do is just click on the vertical three dots on the rightmost corner and uncheck the fullscreen mode.

    Thanks

Oh great, that worked. But seriously not intuitive!! I’ve been using WordPress for years & couldn’t find my way out of that screen 😬 Is it possible to disable it by default?
