Hi @beatrizgalvao
In order to disable auto-renewal for the plan, please follow the steps as mentioned here: https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#turn-off-automatic-renewal
Please make sure you are logged in to the correct WordPress.com account through which you have purchased the plan. If the plan is not appearing in your account, you are logged into the wrong WordPress.com account.
Hello, @bizanimesh
I followed the step by step you gave me and I finally managed to find it!
Unfortunately, cancellation is not working. I saved the screenshot, which shows my failed cancellation attempts.
I still have a few days to try, but if I am wrongly charged, we will certainly have a legal issue (me and the company)…
Thanks for your help anyway.
Hi @beatrizgalvao
I tried to disable auto-renewal for the site you have mentioned (from the WordPress.com dashboard), and I’m getting the same error. But no worries, we can still disable auto-renew from our side.
Could you please contact us via this contact form, and include a link to this thread in your message.
When using the contact form, please make sure you are logged in to the same WordPress.com account on which you have a Jetpack plan. It will help us to verify the account ownership and disable auto-renewal for you.
Hi, @bizanimesh
I think I found out what could be happening…
I transferred my website to another WordPress account of mine, which uses another email to access. In this other account, I can’t find the JetPack subscription, only in the old account, which is no longer with this site.
I tried to transfer the site back to the old account, but I can’t. What do I do?
Can I confirm the details of the 2 accounts so that they can cancel from your central?
Hi @beatrizgalvao
Yes, we can help cancel the automatic renewal. Please contact us via this contact form using the email address on the account that owns the Jetpack plan, and we’ll get back to you by email to confirm.
Thanks.
