Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » How to Block in Gutenberg

  • Resolved shreen2008

I implemented the How-to block using the “Block editor” of Gutenberg style.
I could add the Yoast How-to block as you said in this article.

I am using Thesis framework and Effectus.
Also using PageSpeed Ninja cache plugin and Cloudflare free version.

But Google’s structured data testing tool does not verify your “How-to” markup.
Also it does not show in Google Rich snippets testing tool.

    What am I doing wrong.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for your continued patience. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:
    1. Check for conflicts.
    2. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.
If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.
If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.

    My issue is not resolved.
The HOW-TO block of Yoast is not recognized by Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool.
    The FAQ block is recognized.

So that means it is not a conflict of plugins or JS. etc.
But the Rick Snippets Testing tool accepts the How-to block.

There is difference between Google Structured Data Testing Tool and Rich Snippets Testing Tool.

Also, I’m not sure this will guarantee How-To in Google Search Results or not.

Reviewing the source code of the page provided in the original request, I do not see a HowTo section as the common schema markers are not visible. Can you provide a screenshot of where to find the HowTo section on the page?

Ok. Forget it. I have removed the block, as it was not recognized.
Probably it is a plugin or theme conflict.

    Thank you for your support.
