How to block clicks to my site from 1 referrer?

    What’s the best way, if there’s a way, for me to block any incoming clicks to my site from 1 referrer?

    Not talking about hot-linking, I just don’t want the link to my site from 1 particular site to succeed. I realize they could still copy/paste the URL into the browser and it would be a “direct” request and that’s fine, I just don’t want a link to me from 1 particular forum. I’d rather the people on that forum see a “404” or something if they click the link to me.

    is this done w/ htaccess?
