How to block category and single post pages on wordpress?

I don’t want these pages of my website to be shown, searched, browsed or searched through google.

Like these category pages:

http://www.maxobiz.com/portfolio_category/book_covers/

http://www.maxobiz.com/portfolio_category/business_cards/

http://www.maxobiz.com/portfolio_category/flyers/

And single post pages like these

http://www.maxobiz.com/portfolio-posts/smart-recovery/

http://www.maxobiz.com/portfolio-posts/blissful-coast/

http://www.maxobiz.com/portfolio-posts/9-lives-fitness/

They are coming in website search, we can open these pages by writing their links in the browser and google is referring its searches to these pages. I have used all these products in my portfolio and opening them in a popup. And I don’t need the category pages to be open and shown. I am using your plugin but its not working please help?
