 * hello every one. I’m new to wordpress development and i’m trying to
    learn themes
   and plugins development since long time. does anyone have any advices for me 
   may help me to start developing and building professional themes so i can get
   a job as wordpress developer?? all the books and youtube videos only teach the
   basics and nothing more than that. but what actually what i’m looking for is 
   to do the “real world work that i can get paid for” Thank you

 * I’d recommend reading the [Function Reference](http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference),
   then. Also, I’d recommend downloading a few themes and trying to figure out how
   they work.

 * There are plenty of WordPress theme tutorials out there. I know Ian Stewart helps
   run [themeshaper](http://themeshaper.com) with a few other themers.
 * They actually have an awesome tutorial on how to build a theme.
