• Hi there.

I was wondering if there was a way to hide the address of the theme under the theme selection. That address that goes right under the theme description.

You know, I don’t think its a good idea to let the users know such thing.

Is there a way to avoid it?

  • How would your users be seeing the theme selection screen, when it only displays for privileged users when they are logged into the Dashboard area?

I’m not sure why it woudl be a bad idea for them to know? They cannot access it and the location of the theme files on the server is also shown on the FRONT of the site in the HTML source of every rendered page.

Anyone know a way to manage this?

I’m aware that its not necessarily the most useful, since the html is still there, but I am intrigued as to if it can be done.

It’s not currently known how, though as you said, it’s not useful. Why add more layers to your site and slow it down for that?

    possible? yes. practical? probably not.

at the very least you should be able to hide it with a display:none in the css file.

any user smart enough to find it in the admin area by looking at the source can find it on the front end as well.
