Support » Fixing WordPress » How to avoid repeated posts in index.php?

  • Hello!

I have an unusual problem: I am working with a theme “magazine like” (Tutoriallo). After making many tweakings to the theme, I got stuck in one problem: some posts are in two or more categories, and the theme “chooses” some categories to place them in “reserved” places in the main page. So, if the post is in Cat1 AND Cat2, it will appear on the top of the page (reserved for Cat1) and be repeated right under it (in the area reserved for Cat2)!

I donĀ“t know how to avoid that the post appearing in Cat1 will not appear again in the same page, just because it is also related to Cat2, for example…

I hope I could explain it well… I had searched on internet and foruns but found nothing related.

    Thanks
    Jaqueline
