how to avoid getty images in feeds and posts

  • Given the complete douchebaggery of Getty images and their c*nt attorneys, is there a way to refuse to serve getty images on my website?

  • Probably. How did your site come to serve Getty images in the first place?

For example, if users are uploading them, you could use the ‘wp_handle_upload_prefilter’ filter to check out the file in the temporary folder before the upload continues. I presume there’s some way to identify these images, such as .exif data?
