How to auto sync Salesforce to WP Fusion

Hi Everyone!

I’m trying to clear out if WP Fusion synchronises with WP, through WP Fusion, one-way, from Salesforce to WP. What I want is, when I make a change to a SF contact, this change to be pulled automatically from WP, through WP Fusion. How is this possible? I can’t find any setting for that, only for pushing to SF or pulling from SF manually.

Hey @ckefalianou ,

That is supported, but only in the full (paid) version. The docs are here https://wpfusion.com/documentation/webhooks/salesforce-outbound-messages/

Once you’ve set that up, any changes to contact records in Salesforce are immediately synced back to WordPress.

The free “Lite” version can only sync data manually, or when a user logs in.

I followed the instructions here: https://wpfusion.com/documentation/webhooks/salesforce-outbound-messages/

1) I created a checkbox on every contact I want to pull from SF to WP Fusion
2) I created a workflow rule with the following info:

a) Object: Contact
b) Evaluation Criteria:created, and any time it’s edited to subsequently meet criteria
c) Rule Criteria: Criteria are met: Contact: Sync with WP EQUALS True

3) On save I chose “Outbound message”
4) Endpoint: https://examplesite.net/?wpf_action=add&access_key=XXXXXXXX
5) Also added all the fields to send (the ones that are connected in WP Fusion: Contact Fields).

After that I moved on and did a small change in a contact, but this change wasn’t pulled in WP. Are there any extra actions/checks I need to do?

@ckefalianou That all sounds right.

You could confirm that the workflow rule is triggering by sending an outbound message to https://webhook.site simultaneously.

Also you can check the outbound message log to see if it sent, and what the status was. For example last week we had a customer set their outbound message URL to http://examplesite.net/?wpf_action=add&access_key=XXXXXXXX when it should have been https://. The outbound message log showed a “301 permanently moved” status, and that made it clear that the URL was entered incorrectly.
