I am using FWP to parse the licensed newswire feeds for my website. I am wondering if there is an easy way to post the images from the Atom Feed. Here is an example of a recent post: http://247invest4wealth.com/nickelodeon-unveils-new-generation-of-content-for-new-generation-of-kids-at-annual-upfront-presentation/. Notice the photo url’s get listed. My question is it possible to automatically convert the urls into the images?
From reading this support forum and doing some google searching, the custom post settings section seems to be a possible solution. The suggestions from the plugin author state “$(media:content/@url) = the contents of
”. I am unsure what to type in the “key” box and what to type in the “value” box. The photo urls usually get posted in this form: (Photo: http://www.example.com/../../) and/or (Logo: http://www.example.com/…/…/). Anyone with tips or recommendations would help me considerably in attempting to get these images posted as they get parsed by FWP. If I completely misinterpreted this as a possible solution please let me know.
