    Hey! I’m new here and also quite noobie at using WordPress.
    I don’t have much knowledge with php and im struggling with the modification of a theme i would like to use.

    I’m trying to use the D5 Sociala theme and want to edit the pictures that show in the sliders.
    It says i need to change the “slide-image.php”.
    I opened it in the WordPress editor and think i have found the place to make a change:

    <img src=”<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/images/slides/(2).jpg” alt=”D5 Socialia by D5 Creation”

    but what exactly do i need to change there? I tried changing it to /images/”filename”.jpg of a file i have in media library but i didnt work.

    How do i solve this problem?
    Help please.

    This line:

    src="<?php echo get_template_directory_uri(); ?>/images/slides/(2).jpg"

    …translates as the path to an images/slides directory inside your theme directory. It’s most probable that those slide images are not in your media library. The simplest way to change your slides would be to replace those images with ones of your own.
