Hello!
Thank you for reaching out!
Here is a link to our FAQ section that will give you instructions on how to do this:
http://feedback.usabilitydynamics.com/knowledgebase/articles/1078354-wp-importer-integration-with-agents-add-on
Please let us know if you have questions regarding this and have a great day.
It says there
pick “Property Agents” in WP-Property Attribute Column
But I dont have that attribute. Do I have to manually create that attribute in Settings/Developer?
These instructions look like they are for matching agents to imported listings. My RETS feed does not have contact info. How do I assign all imports to one agent?
The link at the bottom of that page says
More information here.
But the link doesnt work.
I found the Property Agent attribute! I was looking at the Unique ID attribute dropdown list and it confused me because its right beside the Add Row button.
I also found this link: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/using-rets-importer-want-to-auto-link-to-real-estate-agent/
where you say that its possible to insert a shortcode for an agent if none is matched in the import?
4. You can also assign [any] shortcode in the same field, this option is if you want to have a property assigned to a specific agent if the appropriate agent is not found. So, if the system will be looking for an agent and will not find it in the given list, you can have it automatically assigned to an “x” agent.
Can you show me some screenshots how to place that agent shortcode?
Hello,
Apologize for the wait!
Ok, let me elaborate on this. You can pick by what attribute your agent will be displayed when the property does not match any existing agents: http://screencast.com/t/0tFVqYxY9K
Also, you can do matches, for example if you have picked an Attribute: “Property Agent” and an xpath would be “AgentMLS”. And if RETS does not find the appropriate Agent, you can use shortcode called [empty] and if the value field you would need to type in what you want to be displayed if this field comes in when it is empty…for example the name of the agent.
