How to assign a single product to a grouped product using a hook?

    I am using a plugin to let vendors create products from the frontend but I need a way to link those products to a grouped product.

    Can someone help me how I can do so with a hook. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

    Any specific reason why you want to do it using hook and don’t want to let Vendors create Grouped products?

    I wanted to keep things simple for the vendor and keep that control on my end.

    I tried updating the post_parent but that did not help. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
