Im using the following to arrange a text box:
    <div style=”border: 5px solid blue; margin: 10px; padding: 25px; text-align: left; clear: both; float: left; background-color: #e8e8e8;”>My text here </div>
When I add another text box with “float: right” in it instead of “float: left”, it is on the right but lower down.

How do I arrange it so that the two boxes are on the same line?

The fastest and easiest way that I’ve found to set up columns (essentially two text boxes beside each other) is the excellent plugin Shortcodes Ultimate There’s a slight learning curve but for what it can do its well worth it.

If you don’t want to go that route, then post a link to your site at that will give folks a way to visualize what you’re saying and doing.
