Support » Fixing WordPress » How to apply the current blog's timezone retroactively to existing posts

  • A news site with over a 1,000 posts needs to have all of the posts timestamps retroactively updated to the current eastern timezone. Is there a good way to handle this? I would like to see WordPress have a feature in general settings that when you update the timezone that you can also choose to update all of the old posts as well.

I noticed an outdated plugin that says it might work: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-apply-timezone/ But i’m not confident running that and it causing a major problem.
