How to alter maximum size on file uploads via forms

  • I’d like to let users upload images up to 4MB by using a file upload field form. The image is saved in the uploads folder and sent as an email attachment to me. I have increased max file size in php.ini to 4M, and uploading through Media Library indicates that 4MB is the size limit. However, images > 2mb still doesn’t get through when using the form. Where else can the file size be altered? Or does it have something to do with limitations from my SMTP-host?
