    Hi

    I need people to be able to buy out-of-stock-tickets, which will essentially put them on a waiting list.

    I’m running The Events Calendar + Event Tickets Plus + WooCommerce.

    I’ve set WooCommerce to allow backorders on each ticket, but when trying to buy tickets that are out of stock (which should continue to sell even though the tickets are out of stock), it just greys out the particular ticket with a “sold out” message. Does anyone know how to fix that – and allow backorders? Since Woo does allow backorders, I’m thinking it’s an Event Tickets Plus issue?

    Thanks for reaching out, I’ll be happy to help!

    Would you happen to be using Paypal for your Woocommerce Payments? we’ve seen some reports in the past where transactions weren’t processed properly by Woocommerce and that wouldn’t allow the stock to update in the backend.
