    Hi,

Install & activate the lastest version of the plugin, then go to Settings/Spam referrer block in your admin panel. You’ll see “Custom Blacklist” above the global list of blocked domains.

    Hope this helps!

Yes, this does help. Thank you!

Love the concept of this plugin. I am looking for an explanation of the status of domains listed in the black list. If it does not say Blocked, does that mean that the domain is still receiving a free pass to the site?

I would think if I am placing a domain in the local list, that I certainly have made the determination that it is a problem domain and should receive an automatic blocked status. I understand you may want to verify before blocking on other domains, but if I am placing the domain in my local list I have obviously already made that determination for myself.

Once I determine this plugin is effective (I just installed a few hours ago) I will be rating and donating! Thank you for the effort.

    Hello,

Thank you for your comment. Actually, the “status” column is unclear to a lot of users and will be relifted soon.

There are multiple methods for referrer spam and, unfortunately, some of them aren’t “blockable” (the only way is to filter them in your Analytics tool). The status is meant to let you know if the plugin is effective against the method used by this particular domain or not. It’s sometimes hard to tell because I may not be targeted by ALL domains 😉

The plugin should help you at least to reduce the amount of spam you get.
    Hope you’ll like it 🙂

Thanks for the clarification, I have much better understanding now.

Hello, I insert my list, click on save but the list return blank
