  • I’ve just set up my website using WordPress, but don’t know how and where to create a title across the top part of the page (on top of the ‘banner’image). At the moment the title is just above the home page text, but this is unsatisfactory.

With the title, I also want to be able to assign a particular color and font to match the theme of the template. Is this possible?

In addition, if I screwed up any code and need to re-upload the template, would all of my pages and formatting remain?

    Any assistance much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Alot has to do with validation errors.

    Errors.

Oh dear. Looks like I’ve got my work cut out for me. Especially as code-wise I’m only semi-literate. )-:

It appears as well that a lot of the errors were made by the creator of the template.

Given the apparent mistakes in the template code, and the fact that I have no idea how to correct them, can anyone tell me whether I’ll still be able to get a website title in there?

Do the validation errors affect being picked up by search engines?

In addition, where would I place meta-tags/keywords?

    Thanks!
