How to add social buttons to menu bar

    How do I add social buttons to my menu bar?

    I tried downloading the widget Menu Bar Widgets, which is just the thing I am looking for, but I guess it does not work with my theme because it would not show up on the drop down in my menu options. (Appearance-Menus-Menu structure-dropdown of each page… was not there.)

    I followed the video for that widget, so I know I installed it correctly.

    So since that plugin did not work….

    Any ideas on what to do?
