Support » Theme: Twenty Thirteen » How to add pagination for pages?

  • Hi, I’m trying to add a pagination on a long page I wrote using several times the <!–nextpage–> code in the text editor within my text to split it up. Unfortunately it doesn’t work and no pagination shows up and the page remains in one block. Maybe I misunderstood this feature…

How to add pagination on a page with twentythirteen?

  • Not sure witch ones called witch, but you know how when you are adding text, there is a tab for the text editor, and a tab for if your inserting HTML. Should be the one were you add HTML, otherwise it will just be treated as text, buts it’s an HTML comment.

Yep, I used the Text editor and not the Visual editor to add <!–nextpage–>. These <!–nextpage–> do show up in my page source code but still no pagination is displayed to split my text.

It looks like maybe this goes in your php pages: https://codex.wordpress.org/Pagination

I reinstalled WordPress 3.8.1 with twentythirteen and the pagination is still not working when inserting <!–nextpage–> in my text with the text editor as you can see on my testing website: Test site . <!–nextpage–> are visible in the source code but no pagination is created.
