How to add other search engines to whitelist

Hi all,
I just want to be sure to not block other search engines like Ecosia, Qwant, Lilo and some other but i Don’t know how to do it?
Also, for exemple, if Ecosia is already blocked, is adding it to the whitelist enough or do i need to reset bad bot log?

First you need to get the user agent for each bot that you want to whitelist. Then you find the most unique portion/string and add it to the setting, “Whitelisted Bots”. To get a better idea you can look at the strings/bots already added to the whitelist setting.

The whitelist setting overrides all else (including the blocked bot list), so any bot that matches a whitelisted pattern never will be blocked.
