• Let me preface,

I’ve added image galleries to a WordPress blog posts. I’m also using Lightbox Gallery to dress up the images. I’m also using the file attachment page for each image to help with my SEO – more content to crawl…

My problem is I cannot add descriptions to these attachment pages, there is no way to access them from the admin, they’re created dynamically. How in the world can I manage descriptions for these attachment pages. I’ve added descriptions to the images, captions, titles, alt tags, etc..

In addition now Google has indexed these pages and the meta description published in Google is .js code for each attachment page – killing my SEO

I’m using all in one SEO pack but it doesn’t provide much help. Any idea or plugin to manage these attachment pages and their descriptions.

The site is here at Chilis Menu. Please Help

Hi Jogfly – I just sent a reply to this but my connection went down as I did. Not sure if it posted to you or not. Pls advise – I’d like to hear how you went with this – SEO outcomes specifically.

RE: Your initial post – I’ve been successful in adding meta descriptions to my gallery image attachment pages and have beefed up seo content on each – However, my query is whether these attachment pages do indeed get indexed by google – if not, have I just wasted my time trying to optimise:)

I look forward to hearing about your experiences regarding this.
