• Hello WordPress Experts,

I have tried searching within the forum and on Google to find out how to add individual custom meta tags to individual post headers. I need to accomplish this to meet Google Scholar inclusion guidelines (http://scholar.google.com/intl/en/scholar/inclusion.html).

The All-in-One-SEO-Pack plugin allows for custom descriptions and keywords, but not the specific customization required by Google Scholar. Here is the Google Scholar example:

<meta name=”citation_title” content=”The testis isoform of the phosphorylase kinase catalytic subunit (PhK-T) plays a critical role in regulation of glycogen mobilization in developing lung”>
<meta name=”citation_author” content=”Liu, Li”>
<meta name=”citation_author” content=”Rannels, Stephen R.”>

<meta name=”citation_pdf_url” content=”http://www.example.com/content/271/20/11761.full.pdf”>

I have tried the following plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-publication-repository/ but haven’t been able to get it to work. I posted a question to the Plugins and Hacks Forum, but I’m not too optimistic as someone else posted basically the same question a couple months ago and has not received a response. If I get a response I will post here to update.

I’m kind of at a loss right now, so if you have any suggestions I’d be appreciative.

Thank you!
Mitzi
