How to Add Image as First Thing You See in Post

I just opened my blog yesterday and I am a person who knows nothing of sites and coding so I would really appreciate some feedback and help or assistance on my problem that is giving me a headache.

If you go to purseblog.com in one of their posts, you see an image and text below the image and the option to continue reading. When you click “continue reading” you are brought to the full post and the full post has the same image in the same size with the full text. I would like to know how to do this.

If you go to my site, maisondemoda.com, and look at my first post “Outfit Inspiration…” you see text but no picture. I want to include my picture that you see in my full post and the following text after “To see what I would wear on a night out, click below” and when people click “continue reading” I want there to be the same image in the same size with my full text.

I would REALLY appreciate some help with this as I’ve been trying to find out how to do this the whole day with no luck. Thank you so much!!!!!!
