How to add character limit to a text field?

    Hi

    I would like to add a character limit to a text field on a form but I can’t figure out how to do that. Is there any other plugin I need to install to have this option?

    I find it very strange that after all this time, this option hasn’t been added to the Form widget.

    Please help.
