I am using a plug in that uses classes to trigger event tracking in Google Analytics. I know the style I want to reference and I found your extra classes section. But I’m confused about how to use it.

I was going to just add my class name in the field: .buy

But the note about using a short code attribute to call extra classes confused me.

Do you have a screenshot of example of what kind of content I am supposed to put in the Extra Classes field?

    Thank you

The shortcode can just be used to add more, not sure if you need it in your situation but it helps to be more flexible.

In the field you just add the extra class name, without the dot. If you need multiple to put a space between them.

By the way the PRO version can handle Google Analytics straight from the plugin.

Thank you! I’ll add that and see how it goes.
What do you mean it “can handle” Google Analytics?

With that I meant that you can put the event action / label / value directly on the button so it reports to GA when you click something ( and have the script loaded ) .

The article here has some screenshots of that part – https://maxbuttons.com/google-analytics-event-tracking/

Oh I see. Nice feature. Thanks for your help!
